Mirion Technologies Signs Neutron Dosimetry Frame Agreement with Electricite de France (EDF)
SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Mirion Technologies Health Physics Division today announced a contract award by Electricite de France (EDF) to supply 19 nuclear reactors with active neutron dosimeters and readers. EDF is a leading player in the European energy market, operating 58 reactors in France. The contract includes installation, user training and calibration services.
The DMC 2000GN Active Neutron Dosimeters and LDM 2000 Pass-By Data Exchange Dosimeter Readers from Mirion's MGP Instruments product line offer excellent operational flexibility. The DMC 2000GN provides real-time gamma and neutron dose and dose rate, while the LDM 2000 provides a wireless interface reader enabling in-motion readings of dosimeters.
