Mirion Technologies to Provide Radiation Monitoring Systems and Electrical Penetration Adaptors to Ringhals Nuclear Power Plant

SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- The Mirion Technologies Radiation Monitoring Systems Division today announced a contract award by Vattenfall AB to supply radiation monitoring systems and electrical penetration adaptors for Ringhals units 2, 3 and 4 located in western Sweden.

The gamma monitors, from Mirion's MGP Instruments product line, will be connected through the containment wall via a high integrity electrical penetration supplied by the Mirion Technologies Sensing Systems Division. The entire system is designed and qualified to operate over an extreme range of conditions.
