Mirion Technologies Secures New Contract with Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Co., LTD

SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--

Mirion Technologies Sensing Systems Division, a leading manufacturer of advanced electronic and component systems for the nuclear power industry, has been awarded a contract with Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power to provide electrical penetration assemblies for Shin Kori, Units 3 & 4, the two most recent nuclear power plants under construction in the Republic of Korea. The plants will be the 21st and 22nd nuclear power plants in Korea to be supplied with electric penetration assemblies manufactured by Mirion's Sensing Systems Division.

Mirion Technologies Sensing Systems Division's electrical penetrations are currently installed in over 290 nuclear power plants throughout the world. They provide a highly engineered conduit to permit the passage of electrical and fiber optic cabling through a reactor's containment vessel, while maintaining its integrity. Sensing Systems Division products can be found in three-quarters of the world's nuclear power plants.
