Mirion Technologies Health Physics Division to Provide Radiation Detection Equipment for 2008 Beijing Olympics

Mirion Technologies Health Physics Division today announced the sale of radiation detection equipment to China Customs to support security efforts for the Beijing Olympics. The state-of-the-art PDS-100GN Pocket Radiation Detectors and HDS-100GN Handheld Search & ID Detectors, from the MGP Instruments product line, will be deployed to detect, measure and identify radioactive or nuclear materials.
