Mirion Technologies Imaging Systems Division Releases Enhanced IST-Rees Allrad Mk2 Inspection Camera Platform

SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--

The Mirion Technologies Imaging Systems Division announces the release of the enhanced IST-Rees Allrad Mk2 inspection camera platform. The advanced capabilities added to the Allrad Mk2 introduce more flexibility into the leading visual inspection platform used in high radiation environments.

The newly designed Allrad Mk2 incorporates several design features which enhance the performance of this respected camera platform and create an ideal solution for in vessel visual inspection (IVVI) requirements. Among the enhancements, a new lighting package consisting of an on-board LED array with split control improves scene contrast. An optional lighting body is also available, increasing the viewing capability for cameras operating in low-light environments. Finally, the user interface for the camera control unit (CCU) has been redesigned to include two LED lighting controls and revised pan and tilt buttons enhancing camera control.

"The Imaging Systems Division is committed to product enhancements through continued research and development activities. Significant time and effort were put into enhancing this popular inspection platform," stated Ken Neal, President of the Imaging Systems Division. "With a spring loaded drive shaft, full 360 degree tilt and double "O" ring seals between the camera and the pan and tilt mechanism; we have been able to increase user process efficiencies while adding to the performance of this robust camera."
